The CPG is a loosely knit organization of Parkinson’s patients, their spouses, families and supportive friends. Initially conceived as a meeting ground for people with early onset Parkinson’s Disease, it provides a forum for ideas, camaraderie and activism for patients within the pre-retirement demographic.

Common issues have included raising families, maintaining professions, staying active in the community, maintaining physical and mental health and planning for disability and retirement.

CPG’s roots were initially planted with the help of Dr. Neal Hermanowicz of the UCI Movement Disorders Program, and its members currently hail primarily from Orange County.
